Breast reduction surgeries are also no longer as feared as they used to be. With the great advancement of anesthesia over time and the development of new types of anesthetic drugs, these types of surgeries have become safer and more comfortable. After a breast reduction surgery that lasts an average of 3 hours, a 1-night hospital stay is recommended. Pain after reduction surgeries is very minimal. Generally, the post-operative period passes very comfortably. 3 or 4 days of rest is sufficient.

Breast lift surgery is basically the same as breast reduction surgery. The difference between them is that less tissue is removed in breast lift surgery compared to reduction surgery. The incision site is smaller. Depending on the amount of breast lift, the surgery can even be performed only from the nipple. There is almost no pain after the surgery. Patients can be discharged on the same night.

It should be known here that while performing a breast lift, there will be a slight reduction in the breast. Therefore, if the person wants to have upright and full breasts, breast implants should also be placed during the lift surgery. The silicone implant is placed through the incision made for the breast lift. Usually, 1-night hospital stay is recommended after the surgery. The patient is discharged the next day. Our patients coming from abroad can return to their countries on the third day of the surgery.
In some breasts, the nipple is way above normal dimensions, and therefore nipple reduction surgery is necessary. If this operation is to be performed alone, it can be done under local anesthesia. Another option is to perform the nipple reduction operation together with other breast aesthetic surgeries.
In some breasts, the nipples can be inverted. Inverted nipples both look bad visually and are negative for the patient's general comfort. Inverted nipple correction can be easily fixed alone under local anesthesia or can be done together with other breast aesthetic surgeries. Sometimes, even placing a breast implant alone is sufficient for the nipple to come out.
The parts of the breasts extending towards the armpit area can sometimes mix with fat tissue. Especially in women with excess weight, the breasts may appear to extend from the armpit to the back, but actually, the part beyond the anterior axillary line is fat tissue, not breast. By performing liposuction (fat removal process) on this area, the shape of the breast can be made rounder and more compact. Most of the time, it is necessary to perform liposuction on the armpit and side of the breast together with breast reduction surgery.
