Laser Lipolysis
Laser Lipolysis: It means performing lipolysis using laser energy. Lipolysis: Literally, it means breaking down/killing the fat cell.
If the fat cells broken down with the laser are to be taken out together, that is, if LIPOSUCTION is also to be performed, the correct name for the procedure is LASER-ASSISTED LIPOSUCTION.
If you cannot get rid of unwanted fat areas in some parts of your body despite dieting and exercising, or if you want to eliminate localized, stubborn fat accumulation above your ideal weight, you are not without a solution.
Laser energy is concentrated and focused light energy. Focused light energy creates high heat. The resulting heat breaks down and melts fat cells. The liquefied fat is easily removed by liposuction. A highly homogeneous fat removal is provided with the effect of the laser. It allows for equal amount of fat removal from all sides. Additionally, with the effect of the heat generated, significant skin tightening can be performed in superficial applications.
Laser lipolysis can be applied to small areas without the need for liposuction alone. Laser lipolysis is performed, a corset is worn, and recovery is awaited. Over time, dead fat cells are cleared by the body's scavenger cells. This period is about 1-3 months. At the end of this period, visible thinning, decrease in cellulites if any, and reduction in volume are seen in that area. Of course, since the fats are not taken out as in the liposuction procedure, it would be more correct to apply it to smaller areas and use it in areas with less fat thickness. Laser lipolysis is a procedure that can be performed under local anesthesia. There may be slight pain during the first numbing, after the numbing is established, there is no pain at all. The procedure is completed pleasantly and within a short time. A corset is worn and you can go home on the same day. A shower can be taken on the second or third day. Wearing a corset for about 2 weeks is sufficient.
When the laser light hits the fat tissue, it causes the breakdown of the wall of fat cells with a photo-thermal (heat effect) effect. The lower layers of the skin are reorganized. The result of this effect is an increase in tissue quality and tightening.
The procedure begins with marking the places with regional excess fat. Subsequently, a local anesthetic is applied to the treatment area to protect from photo-thermal energy. After a 10-minute waiting period, the laser fiber-optic cable is sent into the fat tissue. All layers of the fat tissue are scanned with this cable. After a certain dose of energy is given to the tissue, the process is terminated. It does not require stitches and a pressure bandage is applied after the procedure. The fact that laser fat melting can be performed under local anesthesia and that bruising and swelling after the procedure are very minimal is quite advantageous. Usually, one session is sufficient for each area, and the duration of the procedure varies between 15 and 60 minutes for each area.
This method can be used in every region where there is a problem with fat tissue. It can be easily used in areas requiring fine work such as the abdomen area, back area, waist area, jaw, jowl and neck area, hip, leg, knee, ankle, male breast, arm and face area.
It allows women and men to quickly get rid of unwanted fat areas, especially in regions that do not respond to diet and exercise. It is suitable for patients above ideal weight and to eliminate localized, stubborn fat accumulation.
After the procedure, a bandage is applied to the treated area. This bandage remains for about 4-5 days. Although people's pain thresholds are different, usually simple painkillers are sufficient for most patients. 1-2 days after the method is applied, the person can return to their social life.
